School Council 2024-2025

This year the academy council have had a look at the different carpets that we could have in our new classrooms. They were also involved in deciding what colour the doors within school should be painted. Additionally, Reggie and Xander asked whether the classes could move around the different playgrounds more regularly - Mrs Hastie has organised this so that all of the Key Stage 2 classes have a day on each different area, each week.

School Council 2023-2024

The school council and Mrs Worley held several meetings. The children have decided on responsibilities they can take on around school. They are going to be our ‘reading ambassadors’, ensuring that the library and story den are kept tidy and also have a wide variety of books. They have done an order of books to add to our already impressive collection.

Another meeting discussion was about playgrounds – the children have identified some toys and activities that they would like to have available during playtimes and they assure us that they will remind everyone to look after the new toys and store them safely in the sheds at the end of playtimes.
