Spalding People's Parade & Drayman's Arms

Entertaining the crowds at the Spalding People's Parade!

People's parade was supported well by staff, Governors, children and parents. We were introduced to our local M.P. Mr John Hayes who was the judge for all the floats made by various schools and groups. We walked around a small part of Spalding which was delightful as many people lined the route to wave and cheer us along. The children enjoyed pushing Elmer the elephant around singing and entertaining the crowds. We all had a wonderful time together.

Draymans fun day /raising money for GHS was well attended by staff, governors and families, where the children enjoyed a bbq, tombolas and lots of other interesting stalls. Children especially enjoyed eating the rainbow cake and it was great to see the local community supporting the school and all children enjoyed spending time with staff out of school hours. A great amount was raised and the sun shone down eventually for a great afternoon's entertainment. Some staff returned for the karaoke in the evening!
