Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum - Feb 2022 News!

Please see below the latest news from the Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum!

Welcome to LPCF’s Latest news!

A big thank you to everyone who attended the second LPCF “Week of SEND”. We had 84 presentations during the week with over 500 attendees and lots of positive feedback. This feedback will be compiled in a report which will be published on the library page of the LPCF website shortly. Many thanks to all of the presenters and organisations who have submitted slideshows, leaflets, resources, resources links , tips and trick sheets etc. All the material we have received to date has been uploaded to the LPCF website in the Information > Resources section and each is attached to the organisation. All our members have also been alerted that there is a wealth of new and updated material uploaded to support the Week of SEND delivery. For those who have already submitted, thank you for your support and may we ask that you just check your listings in resources in our Information > Signposting page and the Information > Resources page – Links • Signposting - https://www.lincspcf.org.uk/P_Info_Signpost.php  • Resources - https://www.lincspcf.org.uk/P_Info_Resources_List.php  For those who have not yet submitted (we know some were in publishing updates etc) please feel free to submit any resources you would like parents to have made accessible. • Your material will be added as soon as we receive it and it will be publicised to our membership of 2,300+. • (NB resources need to be generic and not include dated events etc – such material will be promoted elsewhere e.g. Events page , Facebook etc). • Even if you are not submitting any resources may we ask that you just check your listings in resources in our Information > Signposting page to be sure the outline we have for you is accurate and up to date. (It often easiest to cut the current text, edit it and send that in as new text). • See Signposting link above. One thing we have found from parents is that they do like to have such material so that they can familiarise themselves with organisations before engaging, giving them the opportunity to do their own research and build individual resilience, being better prepared to engage with you. Finally – the Resources page is a rolling development so please feel free to add material or submit updates. We look forward to continuing to work with you and to Week of SEND 2023 !
